If you are going to be late for your experience, we recommend you call us as soon as you are able to so we can discuss options with you.
If you are unable to call us and arrive late, we may not be able to accommodate you on the same day or offer a refund.

Our experiences are a mix of indoor and outdoor and we recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and checking the weather forecast
ahead of your visit. Our viewing platform for Sheep Dogs at Work has a roof so you will be sheltered from the rain.

Ladies, gents and accessible toilets are located at our new purpose built viewing platform. We are meticulous about cleanliness and have hand sanitisers readily available when you arrive. Also, to warm you up or cool you down depending on the season, we have a selection of refreshments including tea and coffee. We also operate Food Standards Agency rating scheme and have been awarded Level 5, which indicates “hygiene standards
are very good”.

We want to reassure you that we aren’t just a farm, we are a fully operational visitor attraction with Industry approved protocols to ensure that
that we limit mixing between groups from different households. We are happy to accommodate family/social bubbles of up to 10 people. We have sanitising stations on site and primarily offer outdoor experiences to the public. Find out about “We’re good to go” below –

“We’re Good to Go” is an industry standard for tourism and hospitality businesses which was developed with the national tourism bodies of England, Scotland and Wales, the standard provides peace of mind to visitors as they explore Northern Ireland. It means we are committed to operating safely so you can enjoy a visit with total confidence. That includes social distancing, following the recommended cleaning processes, and agreeing to undergo spot checks.

Absolutely! We want you to take photos and capture memories while with us. Please be aware though that any photos and video recordings taken are for personal use only and not to be sold or distributed for commercial gain.

Unfortunately, we are not able to permit dogs onto the farm or to stay at the Country House. The only exception to this is for registered guide dogs. Please contact our team in advance for further queries

House Rules

We find many of our visitors choose Glenshane Country House for rest and relaxation. As you are staying close to working farms, we would appreciate no loud noise, music or parties ( we wouldn’t want to worry the sheep and the dogs wouldn’t sleep!!)
